After our summer enjoying outdoor patio salsa, we're moving back indoors for the winter to one of our favourite venues: the beautiful LOKI LOUNGE on King Street!

King Street Thursday night won't know what hit them with the HOTTEST salsa in the city! Doors open at 8PM and dancing until 1:30AM!

- Toronto's best, DJ BERNAL will be spinning all your favourite tracks including the best in salsa, timba, reggaeton and more.

Join us Thursday Oct 20th from 9:00PM to 1:00AM at the beautiful CAYO COCO resto-lounge (304 King Street West, across from the Scotiabank theatres) for a night of great music and dancing.

Inspired by the classic dance bars, cafés and lounges in Centro Havana, we invite you come sip mojitos, socialize and dance the night away to smooth Cuban salsa, timba, and son spun by Toronto’s premier latin DJ BERNAL. 

Cover is $5 and domestic beer and Havana Club drink specials will be in effect all night!! Kitchen open until midnight with great tapas and remember, those who arrive <9PM will enjoy no cover and an extended version of Cayo Coco's famous $4.50 Happy Hour Martini's (4:30pm-9PM)!

PATIO SALSA PARTY THIS SUNDAY at PALMS PATIO!!

Arrive early to catch a special salsa lesson by the amazing Cuban salsa instructor Cesar Salazar at 4PM followed by...

The weather is scheduled to be nice this weekend!!! but this event will happen weather independent as there are large covered/heated areas on the patio.

May 13: Havana Nights

The next HAVANA NIGHTS Friday May 13, 2011!!!  As always, Toronto's superstar DJ BERNAL will be spinning the best timba and salsa.  Doors at 9PM. 19+ event, dress to impress, $5 cover all night. 

Make sure to come out early and enjoy a great lesson with AFROLATINO DANCE COMPANY, who will be teaching a class on SALSA SUELTA.  Suelta is usually danced individually as opposed to in partners and focuses on footwork and body movements danced to your favourite salsa rhythms.  This class is complimentary with admission and will be starting at 9PM.  Great for all levels and a lot of fun!!!

As a very special treat, we will have MELISSA NOVENTA from ILÉDÈ teaching a Rumba class with a focus on Columbia (this unique dance form is a solo dance that focuses on creative and energetic movements as well as an engaging interplay between the dancer and drummers; Columbia was formerly a male-only demonstrative dance but today, many women also dance it).  This class is complimentary with admission and will be starting at 9PM and is not to be missed!!!
